went to my third quaker meeting yesterday and found it very peaceful, albeit a little noisy with the barking of dogs and birds singing (which was very nice) during meeting for worship. also went to the first hour discussion were betsy neale did a presentation about the "historical jesus," which was very interesting. she mentioned this link for additional resources on historical jesus scholarship. i look forward to meetings in the coming weeks and the deepening of my practice of silence and waiting.

jennifer was sick recently and couldn't talk due to laryngitis, so she had to write notes. as you can see she tends to be very grouchy and curse a lot when not feeling well...hehe.
